Having already gained a Sport and Exercise Science degree, Kate went on to complete her Physiotherapy degree at Plymouth University in 2007.
During her career she has worked in private clinics, within busy NHS clinics in both hospitals and GP surgeries, in military settings and within professional sport.
Kate has extensive experience treating a wide variety of patients and conditions, including chronic musculoskeletal problems and acute sporting injuries, as well as pre and post-operative orthopaedic patients.
Kate’s approach to physiotherapy is very much hands on and she uses manual therapy in conjunction with specific targeted exercise to treat her patients.
Kate has further qualifications in acupuncture, sports massage and spinal manipulations and chooses the most appropriate treatment technique for each individual patient.
In her spare time Katie loves to walk her dog on the local beaches, she is a keen runner and enjoys crossfit exercise. She is also Mum to her two young boys, Seb and Zach.
